FOOD PANTRY REPORT/SHORTAGES FOR SEPTEMBER 4

Over the week ending with the 4 September distribution, we received approximately 2.36 tons of non-perishable food, and gave out some 2.82 tons of non-perishable food and perhaps as much perishable food to 290 families.
Estimated shortages for the next two distributions: (1) oatmeal/ cereal (short c.532 units), (2) pasta sauce (short approx. 364 bottles/cans), (3) canned soup (short c.348 cans), (4) “meals in a can” (stew, canned pasta, chili, etc. -- short c.283 cans), (5) canned fruit (short approx. 283 cans), (6) canned beans (short c.257 cans), (7) pasta (short approx. 249 boxes), (8) mac and cheese (short approx.240 boxes ), (9) canned vegetables (sort c.211 cans), and (10) dry rice/beans (short c.69 pounds).
We also need: Similac Blue and Similac Orange baby formula, and/or domestic or foreign equivalents/substitutes, diapers size 4, baby wipes, and Pediasure. In addition we need Ensure, and adult pull-ups sizes medium, and large.
Paper grocery bags (Wegmans or Trader Joe size), plastic newspaper bags and plastic grocery bags are always needed.
