PANTRY REPORT/SHORTAGES FOR APRIL 24

Short for the 1 May distribution: (1) dry, unsweetened cereal (short approximately 66 boxes), and (2) pasta (short approximately 47 boxes). Shortages for the 8 May distribution: the above plus (3) canned vegetables, (4) pasta sauce, (5) canned soup, (6) “meals in a can” (stew, canned pasta, chili, etc.), (7) canned beans, and (8) canned fruit. (We believe we have sufficient dry rice/beans and canned tuna/meat/fish for four weeks.)

We also need: Similac Blue and Similac Orange baby formula, and/or domestic or foreign equivalents/substitutes, Pediasure, sizes 4, 5 and 6 diapers, and baby wipes. Also needed are adult unisex pull-ups sizes small, medium and large.

Plastic newspaper bags and plastic grocery bags are always needed.

Over the week ending with the 24 April distribution, we received approximately 2.59 tons of non-perishable food, and gave out some 2.81 tons of non-perishable food and rather less perishable food to 289 families.

Many thanks to everyone who can help us help those in need!
