ST. MARTIN’S FOOD PANTRY REPORT 6/15/2021

St. Martin’s Food Pantry wants to thank all of the individuals, churches, non-profits, and businesses that made donations. Volunteers who want to help the Food Pantry can complete the Volunteer Form on the St. Martin’s website at: https://www. stmartinsweb.org/st-martin-s-pantry.


On June 21, St. Martin’s Food Pantry will sponsor a COVID-19 vaccine clinic from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Church hall. No preregistration or insurance is needed for the Pfizer vaccine. We want to thank the many volunteers who worked during the past week. Students from Connelly School of the Holy Child, Crestwood Middle School and Watkins Mill High School helped at the Pantry.


During the past week, we provided support to St John Neumann, St. Jude and Living Faith Lutheran food pantries. Donations were received from: St. Martin’s, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Bartholomew, St. Rose of Lima, Olney Community, Montgomery County Council 2323 Knights of Columbus, Leisure Neighbors, Gaithersburg Costco, Germantown Lancaster Dutch Market (delivered by team from Mother Seton parish), Great Harvest (Rockvil


le), Rockville Trader Joe’s (delivered by Celestial Manna), Spring Mill Bread Co. (Rockville), Bagel Town (Travilah), Panera (Kentlands), Harris Teeter (Rockville), Whole Foods Market (delivered by Loving Care), Crumbl Cookies (Rockville), Nourish Now and Damascus Help.


On 6/14 the Food Pantry served 231 clients plus 15 Linkages clients. We provided diapers and baby formula/food to 133 clients.

The Pantry served clients from Aspen Hill, Boyds, Damascus, Dickerson, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Montgomery Village, Redland, Rockville, Silver Spring and Wheaton. We want to thank the 15 volunteers who on Saturday built three rows of shelves in the garage to


store donations. The volunteers were from Montgomery County Council 2323 Knights of Columbus and St. Raphael Church. After hours’ deliveries to the Food Pantry should be left in the storage bins on the ramp at the front door or the rear of the pantry. Delivery times on Monday are 8 a.m. to 12 noon, Sunday 12 noon to 4 p.m. and on Thursday/Friday delivery times are 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
