ST. MARTIN’S FOOD PANTRY REPORT 7/13/2021

St. Martin’s Food Pantry wants to thank all of the individuals, churches, non-profits, and businesses that made donations. Thank you to the Coene family and friends, Riley Mayhall, George Silvas and Kevin McClintock who assembled the new shelving in the Food Pantry.


Volunteers who want to help the Food Pantry can complete the Volunteer Form on the St. Martin’s website at: https://www. stmartinsweb.org/st-martin-s-pantry.


At this time the Pantry is in need of the following items: meals in a can, cereal, canned fruit, canned soup, Similac Blue Formula, baby wipes, baby diapers sizes 2, 5 and 6 and adult diapers.


During the past week, we provided support to St John Neumann, St. Jude, and Living Faith Lutheran food pantries. Donations were received from: St. Martin’s, St. Francis of Assisi, Our Lady of Mercy, St. Bartolomew, Montgomery County Council 2323 Knights of Columbus, Leisure Neighbors, Gaithersburg Costco, Germantown Lancaster Dutch Market (delivered by team from Mother Seton parish), Great Harvest (Rockville), Rockville Trader Joe’s (delivered by Celestial Manna), Spring Mill Bread Co. (Rockville), Bagel Town (Travilah), Panera (Germantown), Harris Teeter (Rockville), Whole Foods Market (delivered by Loving Care), Crumbl Cookies (Rockville), and Damascus Help.


On 7/12 the Food Pantry served 206 clients. We provided diapers and baby formula/food to 106 clients. The Pantry served clients from Aspen Hill, Boyds, Damascus, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Montgomery Village, Rockville and Silver Spring.


After hours’ deliveries to the Food Pantry should be left in the storage bins on the ramp at the front door or the rear of the pantry. Delivery times on Monday are 8 a.m. to 12 noon, Sunday 12 noon to 4 p.m. and on Thursday/Friday delivery times are 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
