St. Martin’s Food Pantry wants to thank all of the individuals, churches, non-profits, and businesses that made donations. Volunteers who want to help the Food Pantry can complete the Volunteer Form on the St. Martin’s website at: https://www. stmartinsweb.org/st-martin-s-pantry.
At this time the Pantry is in need of the following items: Cereal, Meals in a Can (such as Beef stew, Chili, SpaghettiOs), canned soup, Pediasure, Ensure, Similac Blue Formula, baby wipes, baby diapers sizes 4 and 6 and adult diapers.
During the past week, we provided support to St John Neumann and Living Faith Lutheran food pantries and Nourish Now. Donations were received from: St. Martin’s, St. Francis of Assisi, Our Lady of Mercy, St. Bartholomew, Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services, Carderock Springs Swim & Dive Team (for the past two weeks), Cudas Care, Montgomery County Council 2323 Knights of Columbus, Leisure Neighbors, Gaithersburg Costco, Germantown Lancaster Dutch Market (delivered by team from Mother Seton parish), Great Harvest (Rockville), Rockville Trader Joe’s (delivered by Celestial Manna), Spring Mill Bread Co. (Rockville), Bagel Town (Travilah), Panera (Germantown), Harris Teeter (Rockville), Whole Foods Market (delivered by Loving Care), Crumbl Cookies (Rockville), and Damascus Help.
On 7/19 the Food Pantry served 202 clients (plus 15 Linkages clients last week}. We provided diapers and baby formula/ food to 109 clients.
The Pantry served clients from Aspen Hill, Bethesda, Boyds, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Montgomery Village, Rockville and Silver Spring.
After hours deliveries to the Food Pantry should be left in the storage bins on the ramp at the front door or the rear of the pantry. Delivery times on Monday are 8 a.m. to 12 noon, Sunday 12 noon to 4 p.m. and on Thursday/Friday delivery times are 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
