ST. MARTIN’S FOOD PANTRY REPORT 8/15/2021

Updated: Aug 27

CURRENT SHORTAGES (for next week!): dry unsweetened cereal, “meals in a can” (stew/canned pasta/chili/etc.), canned soup, and pasta sauce. For the week after: canned fruit.

Also needed: diapers sizes 2, 5 and 6, Pediasure, and the adult nutritional supplement Ensure.

– Plastic grocery bags and plastic newspaper bags are always needed.

– Currently not needed (but watch this space!): paper bags and egg cartons.

Always our thanks go to the extra volunteers, including student volunteers, who are helping us cover the distribution. We could not keep this up without them!

With their help and yours, we gave out about 1.92 tons of nonperishable food, and a rather larger amount of perishable food (bread and pastries, fresh vegetables and fruit, etc. – primarily donated by local stores) to 197 families on Monday, August 9.
