ST MARTIN'S FOOD PANTRY REPORT/ SHORTAGES AS OF 17 APRIL

Short for the 24 April distribution: (1) “meals in a can” (stew, canned pasta, chili, etc. – short approximately 125 cans), (2) pasta sauce (short approximately 84 bottles/cans), and (3) dry, unsweetened cereal (short approximately 12 boxes). Shortages for the 1 May distribution: the above plus (4) canned soup , (5) pasta, and (6) canned vegetables. Shortages for 8 May: all of the above, plus (7) canned beans, (8) canned fruit, and (9) mac & cheese. (We believe we have sufficient dry rice/beans for five weeks and canned tuna/meat/fish for four weeks.)


We also need: Similac Blue and Similac Orange baby formula, and/or domestic or foreign equivalents/substitutes, Pediasure, sizes 4, 5 and 6 diapers, and baby wipes. Also needed are adult unisex pull-ups sizes small, medium and large.


Plastic newspaper bags and plastic grocery bags are always needed.


Over the week ending with the 17 April distribution, we received approximately 3.18 tons of non-perishable food, and gave out some 2.93 tons of non-perishable food and somewhat more perishable food to 301 families.
