In an effort to bring Christ to as many women as possible through the help of our Patron, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Women of Prayer seeks to love Christ, serve souls and build the Church, starting with our own families, then our parish and extending to our community. We strive to grow in our personal holiness through deepening our prayer life and sacramental life so that we can be more perfect instruments for Our Lord Jesus to use to bring other women to Him.
WOMEN OF PRAYER
Women of Prayer is dedicated to women who are seeking for the love and mercy of Jesus.
Come join us! We meet once a month on a Saturday morning after the 9:00 a.m. mass. A featured speaker will present a talk on topics that will quench your spiritual needs.
It does not matter whether you are a beginner or a veteran. We welcome saints and sinners. We invite single, married, separated, divorced, and widowed. We simply ask that you come with an open heart and mind so that we can reaffirm our commitment to Christ.
It will be a time to listen to God speaking to us through Scripture. It will be a time to open our hearts to others in prayer. It will be a time to re-focus and re-commit ourselves to Christ.
Come join in the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Martin's Parish in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

"In a world where there is so much noise, so much bewilderment, there is a need for silent adoration of Jesus concealed in the Host. Be assiduous in the prayer of adoration and teach it to the faithful. It is a source of comfort and light, particularly to those who are suffering."
- Pope emeritus, Benedict XVI
