Food Pantry Report - August 30, 2024

Updated: 2 days ago

The pantry served a new record of non-Christmas and nonThanksgiving families, 462 families, this past Monday. We received food from Our Lady of Mercy, Leisure World neighbors, St. Francis, Crumble Cookies, Panera/Great Harvest, Fresh Baguette, St Bartholomew, Panera Kentlands, Einstein Bagels, Safeway (River Road at Falls), Bageltown Deli, and Fresh Baguette. Thank you to all of these groups, and all of the individuals who contribute time or food.

Needs for the coming week include: Rice (big bags!) Canned "Meals in a Can"- lasagna, ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, etc. Tuna fish, pasta, pasta sauce, various canned vegetables, green beans, corn, peas, carrots. (Thank you for those who supply soup!) We still need volunteers to help out on Saturday afternoon, from about 3:00pm until about 4:30pm, at the St. Martin pantry. Thank you to all of you who make this happen.
