Food Pantry Report - May 17, 2025

ST. MARTIN’S FOOD PANTRY

This past Monday, we were able to help 400 families. We want to thank the US postal Service for their big donation as well as St. Martin's School students, St. Bartholomew, Our Lady of Grace and St. Francis for their support to our parish pantry. Highest needs for the pantry this week: 400 cans of each of the following - pasta sauce (15 oz. can, must be less than 32 oz. jars) various types of beans, 15 oz. can (red, black, refried etc.) Pasta 1 pound box or bag, (prefer straight pasta) Mac & Cheese packages (7.2 oz.) and bottled water, as we get into the summer. Children's diapers size 1, 4 & 6 and baby wipes are also needed. Adult male and female incontinence products, sizes medium and large. Plastic egg cartons, newspaper bags, and full size grocery bags are always needed. Your generosity is always truly appreciated.

Volunteers Needed in Two Key Areas! We’re currently seeking dedicated volunteers for the following roles: Inventory & Food Order Support Help track and manage our inventory of canned and non-perishable food. Time Commitment: ~ 2.5 hours/week. Requirements: Basic Excel/spreadsheet skills (no technical expertise needed) 📌 Note: This role is critical—currently only one person handles this, and any disruption could delay food orders for a week or more. Sunday Morning Drivers (Costco Pick-Up) Join a team to help inspect, pack, and transport fresh food donations. 🕒 Time Commitment: Sundays, 8:45 AM–11:30 AM. 🚗 Large vehicles (SUVs) are especially helpful, but all are welcome! Our faithful 3-person team has been doing this weekly for 4+ years-we’d love to rotate in some fresh help. If you’re interested or have questions, please reach out—we’d love to hear from you!
