ST. MARTIN’S FOOD PANTRY

We are deeply grateful to all who contributed their time, food, and transportation this past week. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to serve 362 families with much needed food. A special thank you to our partner communities: St. Francis, Our Lady of Grace, St. Bartholomew, St. Patrick, Our Lady of Mercy, St. Martin, and Damascus Helps for their continued support.

Increased Need for Donations Due to the ongoing suspension of the SNAP (food stamp) program, we are experiencing a higher-than-usual demand for food assistance. Your donations are more important than ever.

Our highest-priority needs are:

1. Canned pasta with meat (e.g., Chef Boyardee 15 oz. cans: spaghetti with meatballs, ravioli, lasagna, etc.)

2. Canned fruit, 15 oz. cans

3. Pasta sauce, 15 oz. cans preferred (please avoid large 40 oz. jars – they are too heavy for our donation bags)

4. Macaroni & cheese, 7 oz. boxes

Additional needs:

  • Infant diapers (sizes NB, 1, 5, and 6)

  • Adult incontinence products

Newspaper bags and plastic egg cartons (always in high demand)

Volunteer Opportunity:

Food Inventory Assistance We are looking for a reliable volunteer to assist with our weekly food inventory and acquisition process. This role includes:

  • Approximately 7 hours of work

  • Must start Sunday afternoon and be completed by Tuesday at noon About 2 hours of onsite inventory work at the pantry

  • Experience with the pantry and basic Excel skills are preferred
